So many small budget movies have been testing their luck at the box office lately and a few of them are succeeded in scoring big at the box office. ‘2 Hours Love’ is one such small budget movie which has been grabbing the attention of the audience these days. The trailer of the movie itself has hinted that the movie is going to have a different kind of love story and received good response from the audience. Sri Pawar is not only marking his directorial debut with this film but also played the lead role in this movie. Kriti Garg played the leading lady of the movie which finally got released today on September 5th, 2019. Here is the review of the film.
Story:
Adhay (Sri Pawar) is a software engineer. One day, he accidentally meets Nayana (Kriti Garg) and falls in love with her. When he expresses his love, Nayana keep some interesting conditions to him. One of them is that she will only love him from 4 PM to 6 PM. They even sign the agreements and start loving each other. On the other hand, a villain gang targets Nayana and tries to attack her. Getting to know about this, Adhay tries to protect her. But she won’t listen to him claiming that she won’t talk to him until it’s 4 PM. What is the agreement between them? Why the villain gang wants to attack Nayana? Why Nayana keeps that condition? Will Adhay and Nayana end up together? What happens in the end? forms the rest of the story.
Performances:
Sri Pawar’s energetic performance in the movie is superb. Be it his dialogue delivery or facial expressions and body language, Sri Pawar has delivered best performance in the movie and breathes life into his character. Kriti Garg is absolutely stunning in the film. The actress not only will grab the attention with her beauty but also with her performance. Also, the chemistry between Sri Pawar and Kriti Garg is really cute to watch. She has given her 100% in essaying the role. Tanikella Bharani delivered an honest performance in the movie. His decent performance added more strength for the film. Vardhan also acted well and impress with his screen presence. Narsingh Yadav also got an interesting role in the movie and has performed really well. The rest of the actors also made their presence felt.
Technical Aspects:
Not only as an actor, Sri Pawar will definitely impresse the audience with his direction skills as well. The way he has picked up a simple concept and knitted an interesting story and presenting it in an interesting way is worth appreciating. His pace of narration is also really good and will keep the audience engaged from the start to the end. The way he has executed the story is pretty impressive. Production values by Srinika Entertainments banner are very rich. Though it is a small budget movie, it is evident that the producers have invested decent amounts without compromising in terms of quality. Music by Gyaani Singh can be considered as one of the major highlights of this film. Keeping the songs aside, his BGM is really pleasant and suited well for the film. Cinematographer Praveen Vanamali has produced some beautiful visuals for the film. Editing by Syam Vadavalli is decent.
Verdict:
‘2 Hours Love’ can be considered as a new age love story with an interesting narration. The movie starts off on an interesting note and the entire first half is filled with some comedy scenes, entertainment and a lot of romance. The chemistry and the scenes between the lead pair is showcased in a beautiful way and can be considered as the heart of the story. On the other hand, the second half will also have some action episodes as well as some emotional drama. But the director has succeeded in engaging the audience. Different kind of concept, engaging screenplay, backgrounds score and twists and turns in the story can be considered as the plus points of this film. There are some boring scenes that will test the patients of the audience in the second half which will be the negative point. Overall, ‘2 Hours Love’ is definitely a worth watching movie and especially the youth can really enjoy the film.
