Story:
‘Love You Ram’ revolves around the charming characters of Ram (Rohit Behal) and Divya (Aparna Janardanan), childhood acquaintances who are separated by time and distance. Ram, now a wealthy individual residing in Norway, gradually reveals his true nature as a self-centered and money-minded individual. His modus operandi involves deceiving and exploiting people after gaining their trust. Ram decides to approach Divya to marry her, assuming he can exert control over her due to her modest economic background. The remainder of the story beautifully unfolds as we witness the consequences of their proposed union and wedding.

Performances:
Rohit Behal brilliantly portrays the complexities of his character, bringing forth the pettiness and true colors of Ram. Although characterized by sentimental acting, Aparna Janardhan’s performance adds a touch of nostalgia. The supporting cast, including Banerjee as the heroine’s father and Dasaradh in a significant role as the hero’s exploited assistant, adds depth and authenticity to the film. The rest of the cast made their presence felt.

Technical Departments:

K Vedaa’s music, while lacking energy, enhances the overall experience with its melodic charm. SB Uddav’s editing provides a seamless flow to the narrative, keeping the audience engaged. The art direction by Guru Murali Krishna encapsulates a unique period, adding a nostalgic touch to the film. Despite being shot in Norway, known for its expensive film shoots, the film manages to transport viewers to the heart of the story without losing its essence.

The film ‘Love You Ram’ has got an interesting screenplay. The film manages to shine through with its occasional moments of humor. Praveen Varma’s dialogues are good and contribute to the film’s overall charm. The themes explored may not resonate with everyone, but the film’s earnestness is undeniable. The portrayal of the lead protagonist’s character has a refreshing twist to the story. Furthermore, the film’s depiction of the relationship between the male and female leads, reminiscent of 1990s movies, adds a touch of nostalgia and familiarity. On the whole, the film is interesting and entertaining.
