Sadanand (Rajendra Prasad) comes to the city to see his own younger sister Suguna’s (Rohini) son (Sai Ronak) to marry his daughter Manasa (Pragya Nagra). Seeing his son-in-law’s expensive life, salary and software life, he decided that he should marry his daughter to a software engineer anyway and talked to his sister and fixed the yoke.

This is where the wedding ceremony starts showing the traditions, methods and customs surrounding the Laggam in the background of Telangana. Did the wedding start with such grandeur or not!! How should both the families think and what should be done to get married. If the marriage is arranged, then the bride becomes a bride!! What do you need to do real laggam!! The director is making his mark without missing the tradition by discussing many things like, with meaningful dialogues. With a nice background score, funny scenes around Laggam and the characters of relatives, the director brings everyone together. In this Laggam, even the writer-director Ramesh Cheppala has turned the audience into married relatives.

He gave a bang and thought about what will happen to the interval. The first part is about the characters and their characterization by establishing the tradition. The second half takes a gentle turn and takes you into an emotional ride. Soon after the start of the second part, the director has hooked the average audience with twists and emotional scenes. It can be said that he has built every scene very strongly with so many situations, so many intrigues around a Laggam, what a Laggam needs to happen. A software lifestyle, the life of a father and daughter, the hardships of those who live far away from their family… Writer-director Ramesh Demalla has woven many sensitive subjects very well. It must be said that Ramesh Tembala has shown his work as a writer and director.

The film ends with the Appagintalu song which is the highlight of Laggam. Director Ramesh Dembala has presented the occasion of marrying the daughter and sending her to Mettinittitti very emotionally in the form of a song. The last minute of the movie leaves every viewer with a heavy heart and tearful eyes. When it comes to the actors, the characters of Rajendra Prasad and Rohini are the life of this movie. Both are convincing in their roles. Actor Rajendra Prasad, who made a film in Telangana dialect for the first time, took great care not to make any mistakes. Raghubabu, LB Sriram, Saptagiri, Ratcha Ravi, Chammak Chandra, Vadlamani Srinivas, Kiriti, all did justice to their roles. Everyone’s role is important.

Another strength of this film is the cinematography by Bal Reddy (of Baby fame) and the background score by Mani Sharma. Mani Sharma’s Mark BGM can be seen in Laggam. Every emotional scene is taken another step with its BGM. Charan Arjun songs are good. The rest of the actors have settled into their roles.

After many days I felt like watching a good family entertainer in the theatre. Comedy, good drama, strong emotional scenes, impressive. The director did not write the story only around Laggam but touched on some current affairs along with Laggam and guided the story around them and linked with Laggam and led the story without boring anywhere. Full Meals is a movie for the audience looking for family entertainment. Laggam is a movie that half of the households should watch together.
