‘Patang,’ produced by Xappie Studios and Rishaan Cinemas and directed by debutant Praneeth Prattipati, is a sports comedy drama based on a ‘Kite Flying Competition,’ which is a first in Indian Cinema. ‘Patang’ is said to be high on humor, and the nativity and Secunderabad Basthi backdrop will be fresh for Telugu audiences. Instagram sensation Preethi Pagadala, Zee Saregama Runner-up Pranav Kaushik, and Vamsi Pujit are playing the lead roles, along with many more debutants making their debut with the film. Singer S.P Charan, who previously appeared in films like ‘Saroja,’ is making a comeback with this film, and his role is expected to be one of the highlights. ’30 Weds 21′ fame Jose Jimmy is composing the music.
