Tejas Kancharla made his debut as a hero with the movie Ulavacharu Biryani directed by Prakash Raj. He was successful with ‘Husharu’. Payal Rajput played the lead role in RDX Love. However… The film was not a success. He took a small break and came to the theaters today with ‘Urukku Patel’. How is the film doing in theatres today? As for the story; Patel (Tejas) is the son of the village sarpanch (Goparaju Ramana). He realizes that he will not be able to study at a young age and decides to leave his education and marry a well-educated girl. Since then, he has been asking every girl in the village to marry him. He has good money and is the son of a sarpanch. He falls in love with Akshara (Kushboo Chaudhary) at a wedding. Knowing that he is a doctor, he falls in love with the girl and wants to marry her. The Sarpanch sets up a medical camp in the village with the doctor for his son. The two become close during a medical camp.
Patel is injured while saving Akshara in an accident. Due to this one leg of the patient dies. However, he wants to marry her. The two families agree. It is said that the day is Akshara’s birthday and there is a puja in the hospital. When Patel goes there, Akshara’s family kills a man and it is revealed that Patel is also going to be killed. Analysis of the film; Urukku Patel is a comedy thriller film. The first half of the film revolves around Patel and Akshara, who go out of town for fun, followed by Patel and the two fall in love. Interval goes to Patel’s Akshara’s birthday and the family is intrigued as to what happens next. How did he manage to escape in the second half? Why does Akshara’s family want to kill Patel? The film has two surprises in store for the audience. The audience can’t imagine these twists.
The first half looks like a typical commercial film. It’s also a little jarring. The film gets interesting from the beginning. The entire second half created tension about what will happen next and succeeded in surprising with climax twists. The story is set against the backdrop of Telangana. While the first half was shot in a village, the second half was shot in a hospital. The title suits the story perfectly.
Performances of the actors; Tejas Kancharla came in front of the audience with the film Urukku Patel without taking a break. He gave an energetic performance in the first half and how to escape in the second half. He carried the entire film on his shoulders. Kushboo Chaudhary is brilliant in her role. Though she is not a Telugu girl, she looks like a Telugu girl. Goparaju Ramana played the role of Patel’s father. Sudarshan and Chammak Chandra laugh there and there. The rest of the actors also impress the audience.
Technical issues; Cinematography visuals are good. The entire second half takes place in a hospital at night and the cinematography is perfect. Songs are average. Background music is good. Director Vivek has added a new screenplay to the routine story and made the first film well. On the production front, the film seems to have spent a lot of money.
On the whole, Urukku Patel is a comedy thriller about a girl who loves cinema and why her family wants to kill the hero.
