Actor Sivaji is back with a new movie and he will be reuniting with actress Laya for this brand new crime comedy thriller. Titled Production No.2, the movie is being produced under the banner of Sri Shivaji Productions, with Sivaji himself taking on the role of producer. Sudhir Sriram will mark his directorial debut with the movie.
The film’s launch event was held recently, featuring some well-known figures in the industry. Star producer Dil Raju gave the inaugural clap, while Sivaji’s son, Ricky, switched on the camera. The script was handed over by producers Bekkem Venugopal, Dil Raju, and director Boyapati Srinu, with Boyapati also overseeing the first direction.
Sivaji and Laya have a proven track record, with previous films like “Missamma,” “Tata Birla Madhyalo Laila,” and “Adirindayya Chandram” all becoming box office hits. Their successful collaborations have earned them the reputation of being a hit pair, which has only increased the anticipation for this film.
The regular shooting for the film is set to begin on the 20th of this month. The complete details of the cast and crew will be revealed soon!
