Everyone wants to win the war. But only one individual can realize his wish. We call him the Victor,” a character says in the trailer of the much-awaited pan-India political action drama ‘Sasanasabha’, which is a pack of promising elements. “The war has begun,” he adds. The film is hitting the screens on December 16.

Before the introduction of its intense lead man in the trailer, we see political power play unfolding before an election. A female character sounds ruthless in her ambition. ‘Nata Kireeti’ Rajendra Prasad is introduced as a righteous veteran who wants to set an example by practising clean politics. But he faces a setback, making him lament that he is a failed leader. A political party named Praja Chaitanyam Party is at the centre of machinations.

Then we see the Central Prison where the hero has been undergoing a sentence. The talented actor Indra Sena makes a splash in an action scene. When Sonia Agarwal’s character says that he is the most dangerous animal, heroism gets elevated. “He is the most powerful weapon we have today,” says another character. It seems the male lead has a role in influencing a key political outcome.

Prudhviraj is seen as a calculated politician who feels that voters don’t have the right to complain when they take money in return for their vote. He was a street rowdy before he became a Minister.

‘Sasanasabha’ is a complete package with all ingredients: Action, drama and emotions. The film also has got a relevant social message. The film is India’s first-ever pan-Indian political movie. It has got music director Ravi Basrur of ‘KGF’ and ‘Salaar’ fame on board. Recently, a special song sung by Mangli and headlined by Hebah Patel was released.

Sapbro Productions Pvt Ltd of Sapbro Group is producing the movie on a lavish scale. Producers Thulasi Ram Sappani and Shanmugam Sappani, known in their circles as the Sappani Brothers, are bankrolling this ambitious film.

Directed by Venu Madikanti of ‘Venkatapuram’ fame, the film will be known for its ensemble cast. Aishwarya Raj Bhakuni of Akshay Kumar’s ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ fame has a role. Jabardasth Apparao, Anish Kuruvilla, and Amit are also on board.
