Movie Artists Association (MAA) governing body of the association is responsible for overseeing its activities and serving its members. It holds office for a term of two years and is composed of several members, including a President, two Vice-Presidents, General Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer, and other Executive Committee members.
The President is the head of the governing body and acts as its spokesperson, while the Vice- Presidents support the President in carrying out their duties. The General Secretary oversees the administrative tasks of the association, while the Joint Secretary assists them. The Treasurer is responsible for managing the finances of the association and ensuring its financial stability. However, it is important to note that only members with Life Membership status are eligible to serve as members of the governing body. This ensures that those who are invested in the long-term success of the association are the ones making important decisions and leading the organization.
