Making biopics in different languages including Telugu is not new. But biopics of selfless volunteers who work for the country are rare. Our former and recent Prime Ministers like Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Narend Modi also started reigning as Swayamsevak and got the highest posts of the country. The role of RSS Swayamsevaks who work at the field level cannot be forgotten in getting such posts. Jitendra Reddy’s story is the story of such a volunteer. And who is he? Let’s see in our movie review.

As far as the story of Jitender Reddy is concerned.. Jitender Reddy is a true story that happened in the joint Karimnagar District Jagityala in 1980. Jitender Reddy’s family has been RSS Swayamsevak since before. A family that works day and night for the country and dharma. Born in such a family, Jitender Reddy was attracted to the ideology of RSS at an early age. Moreover, he aspires to do something for the country, dharma and people. As a child, he was unjustly killed by Naxalites, a boy not quite 18 years old. At the urging of a local civil rights leader, the boy joins the army. But the Naxalites escape and come home. After that the Naxalites brutally murdered him without seeing that he was a child. Comrades get angry with this incident. He realizes that the Naxalites who claim to be gunning for land and for the welfare of the downtrodden have gone astray. After that, the story of this movie is about Jitender Reddy’s fight against comrades.

Technically speaking..
When were the movies showing comrades as heroes on the Telugu screen? Although they are rooted in all the systems we have, the directors have been showing them as protagonists because of the left and liberal system. But lately, movies have been showing the dark aspects of Naxalism. Recently, Ada Sharma’s movie ‘Bastar’, which was released this year, also showed the anarchy of Naxalites in the movie ‘Chhattis Gad’. In our country, more soldiers, policemen and common people have died in the hands of Naxals than in the war between India and Pakistan.

Screening such stories is not a common thing. It’s not enough to have money, you have to have the guts to build it. You have to have guts and courage to screen it. If you watch Jitender Reddy movie, you will know that the director and producers of this movie have so much. So far, films on the Telugu screen had a positive outlook on Naxalites. And the dark aspects of Naxalism have been revealed. The older brothers who once kept an eye out for the downtrodden.. have kept those downtrodden from growing. Moreover, they are standing in the way of the government’s progress. Director Virinchi Varma has revealed that on the screen brilliantly.

Acting, Chhatrapati Shekhar’s performance as a Naxalite leader is good. The rest of the actors acted according to their scope.
