Sudheer Varma is the talented director in the movie industry who is currently working on an exciting project titled as Ranarangam. Sharwanand and Kajal Aggarwal are playing the lead roles. Kalyani Priyadarshan is also a part of the project. The makers are currently busy with the promotions of the movie. The director Sudheer interacted with the media today and the following are some excerpts from the interview.
What is the inspiration for Ranarangam?
The inspiration for Ranarangam for me in penning the screenplay is God Father. The extent of the success depends on the result. We have to wait and see how it goes.
How did the project happen?
I like Sharwanand’s Prasthanam and always wanted to show him as an intense hero. I always looked him like that and everything has fallen in place. That’s how the project happened.
Who is the first choice for the hero?
The project was supposed to happen with Ravi Teja first. But the actor is busy and the project did not move forward. Sharwanand listened to the script and he wanted to do this movie. Then, we told Ravi Teja Garu and started this project. Ravi Teja also liked the script a lot.
Are you attempting Swamy Ra Ra 2?
As of now, I haven’t thought about the idea. If an idea strikes me that could be good enough to reach the expectations, I would certainly do that.
What is your next movie?
As of now, I am making plans but nothing is confirmed yet.
