The story takes place in the year 1850 when the British were ruling us intermittently. Technical issues Cinematography visuals are good. The location was perfect for the time. The songs are okay but the background music is not. Director Pa Ranjith has taken a new story with an old story. The production cost of the film is said to be quite high. The costumes have also been designed to make the period backdrop look perfect.
