Dynamic star Vishnu Manchu recently commenced the regular shoot of his dream project Kannappa. Even before starting the project, the star astonished one and all with hints about casting superstars from various languages. Rebel Star Prabhas is cast to play a very crucial role in the movie. Team Kannappa extended birthday wishes to Prabhas. His presence is one of the major attractions of the movie.
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, known for his work on the Mahabharat series, the film is based on the true story of Kannappa, an unwavering devotee of Lord Shiva. Vishnu Manchu himself will bankroll the movie under the banners of Ava Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory. Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, Burra Sai Madhav, and Thota Prasad are the writers for the movie.
The shoot of Kannappa is presently happening in New Zealand. The movie is being crafted on a large scale with a massive budget.
