Dhanraj, who gained fame as a comedian in films and as an artist in Jabardasth, has now turned director and directed the film ‘Ramam Raghavam’. Dhanraj and Samuthirakani are the main leads, Harish Uttamman, Satya, Pramodini, Srinivas Reddy, Prithviraj, Sunil, Moksha.. This film has many important roles. Ramam Raghavam is directed by Dhanraj and produced by Prithvi Polavarapu under the banner of Slate Pencil Stories. The film will be released tomorrow, February 21 in Telugu and Tamil. The premiere show has already been held for the media.
As for the story… Dasharatha Ramam (Samudrakhani) has a lot of love for his son Raghava (Dhanraj) since his birth. Ramam is an honest officer in the registrar’s office. But Raghava does not study properly and does not do any work and wanders around like a beaver. Raghava keeps making mistakes after mistakes for money. Finally, Raghava forges their father’s signature for money. When Ramam finds out about this, he beats Raghava and hands her over to the police.
Apart from this reason, Raghava wants his father to kill Ramam for another reason. For this, he talks a deal with his friend, the lorry driver Deva (Harish Uttamman). Why does Raghava actually want to kill his father? Is Ramam dead? What was the deal he talked about with the lorry driver? What mistakes did Raghava make? In the meantime, to know about Raghava’s love story, you have to watch it on screen.
Movie Analysis.. Dhanraj, who has been a comedian for years, has now become a director, and there has been interest in the movie from the beginning. The first half is like a regular movie with the son acting like a beaver, the father scolding him, and the mistakes made by the son. All these scenes are in many movies. As Raghava decides to kill his father Rama during the interval, there is interest in what the second half will be like. However, after watching the first half, everyone may think that it is a regular movie, but the real story is in the second half. The second half gives twists unlike what everyone expected. They give twists on twists in a row. This is probably the first time that such twists have been put in a father-son emotional story. The audience will definitely cry from the pre-climax.
Dhanraj, who has been laughing for years, makes you cry with this movie. Even though the father’s emotion seems to be something from the beginning, it is worked out well from the pre-climax. Dhanraj tried to portray the film Ramam Raghavam well as a conflict between a man’s hope and parents’ love. This is a film that every son of this generation should watch. Father-son emotional stories are not only films like Nannaku Prematho and Animal, but also films like Ramam Raghavam. The father character and the son character were written very well in a way that no one expected. Even though they tried comedy here and there with Satya, it didn’t work out that well. It also seems wrong to give elevations to Harish Uttamman in some scenes when Dhanraj was present. The first half feels a bit stretched and like a regular story. Ramam and Raghavam mean Lord Rama. That is, the two words are the same. Although both are the same words, they have driven the story with two different characters and justified the title with good dialogue at the end.
Actors’ performance.. Dhanraj, who has been seen as a comedian for years, gave a settled performance in a serious role in this film. He shed tears at the end. It can be said that Samudrakhani came to life in the role of the father. Pramodini also cultivated good emotions in the role of the mother. Satya tried to make people laugh here and there. Harish Uttamman also acted well in his role. Prithvi Raj, Sunil, Moksha, Srinivas Reddy.. The rest of the actors impressed in their roles.
Technical aspects.. Cinematography visuals are good. The locations are also shot in almost real locations. The background music is good. The emotional scenes have been given very good BGM. Although the songs are not good, the emotional song in the climax is pleasing. The screenplay has been written so well that people think that the story is new before they think it is a routine story. It can be said that Dhanraj has succeeded as a director. He has been able to deal well both as an actor and a director. In terms of production, this film has also been well spent.
Overall, ‘Ramam Raghavam’ is an emotionally interesting screenplay that asks why a son who turns out to be a beaver wants to kill his father. What happened?
