Chalapati (Sathish Babu) is an atheist. Don’t believe in God at all. Chalapati’s father is working as a priest in Ammavari Gudi of Paleti village. With his mother’s help, Paleti is trying to eradicate the evils in the village. One day, mother Gangavati along with Paleti disappears from the village. There is a rumor that Ammavaru has left the village because of the bad worship done by Paleti.
With that, the people of the village will start seeing the Paleti family as enemies. On the other hand Gangireddy, the elder of the village, has quarrels with Chalapati’s family. What is the reason for these conflicts? How did Chalapati, an atheist, remove the blame on his father? How did Ammavaru stand by Chalapati in order to fulfill this goal? How did Paleti find the father’s trace?
What is Gangireddy’s connection with Ammavari’s disappearance? How did Chalapati stop Gangireddy’s plot to destroy Amma? The story of Jatara movie is about the obstacles faced by Chalapati’s love with Venkata Lakshmi (Diyaraj).

Currently, the trend of mythological movies is increasing in Tollywood. Films based on devotional themes are raining money at the box office. Jatara is a movie in this genre.Director Satish Babu has shot this movie in the complete village backdrop. Many movies have come out with the point of Amma protecting her devotees. But unlike them, why did God have to save an atheist youth? The director has created this film by adding elements of revenge, love story and mass elements to how he killed evil with his mother’s egg.
interval twist…
The film will be introduced with the role of Paleti along with the village deity Gangavati. The director has shown the reason why Chalapati grew up with a different mentality of the father. Venkata Lakshmi and Chalapathila Premayanam will pass the time in the first half. The interlude twist where Ammavaru disappears from the village along with Paleti is impressive.
How did the hero solve this mystery? The director led the second half with the steps taken by Gangireddy and Chalapathy to get the upper hand on each other. The pre-climax as well as the twists and action episodes in the climax are good. In the first half, you get the feeling that the director has taken more time to introduce the characters. The lack of known actors has become a plus as well as a minus.

Satish Babu has worked hard to steer the journey of two boats as the hero of the film Jatara without any hesitation. His acting in the role of Chalapathy is not good. Diyaraj impressed with her natural acting in the role of Venkatalakshmi. Arkanayudu acting as villain is ok.
In the village backdrop…
It has been a long time since Bhakti’s main film was released in the village backdrop. To some extent, Jatara fills that gap. If you don’t expect too much, it’s nice to see
