Eesha Movie Review: How is Hebba Patel’s horror thriller film?
There’s no need to explain the demand for horror films these days. Eesha is another film that has been released in the same genre. This is the film released by Bunny Vas and Vamsi Nandipati after Little Hearts and Raju Weds Rambhai. Let’s see how it is in the full review.

Story:

Kalyan (Trigun), Nayana (Hebah Patel), Vinay (Akhil Raj), and Aparna (Siri Hanmanth) are four childhood friends. Vinay and Aparna get married. Kalyan is in love with Nayana. The four of them work their jobs while also exposing the true nature of fake gurus and those who deceive people in the name of superstitions. They learn about Adi Dev (Prithvi Raj), a psychiatrist in America who, after his wife’s death, suddenly transforms into a self-proclaimed godman. As they are on their way to expose him, an unexpected accident occurs. After that, Punyavathi (Mime Madhu) starts following the four of them. What happened then? What is the connection between them and Punyavathi? That forms the rest of the story.

Narrative:

Horror films have an advantage. Even if there’s no story, audiences will forgive it if the narrative is engaging. Director Srinivas Manne relied on this in the case of Eesha. There’s practically no story in the film; it all takes place in one location. A group of people who don’t believe in ghosts and spirits, a swami who wants to give them an experience, a dilapidated bungalow to stay in, and the spirits residing there – this is the film’s plot. However, the director tried to scare the audience in every scene, and he succeeded quite well in some places. While the director contributed 40 percent with his writing, the music director did 60 percent of the work. Even though the film is only two hours long, a feeling of lag is definitely present. The narrative moved slowly until the interval, but it picked up pace in the second half. The last 20 minutes of the film, in particular, were fantastic. Even though some twists were predictable, their reveal was still interesting. The climax is the lifeblood of the film, and director Srinivas wrote it very well.

Cast:

Trigun, Hebba Patel, Siri, and Akhil Raj… all four acted very well. No one’s role was less important, and no one’s was more important. Senior actor Prithvi was good in another important role. Mime Madhu also acted well; his character was very good.

Technical Team:

Music director RR Dhruvan, however, did complete justice. He provided his own unique background score for every scene. The cinematography and editing are also good. As the makers claimed, Eesha isn’t exactly a heart-stoppingly terrifying film.

Punchline:

Overall, despite some flaws, Eesha is a decent horror thriller!
