Dharma and Aishwarya Sharma play the lead roles in the movie Drinker Sai, which carries the tagline “Brand of Bad Boys.” The film is being produced by Basavaraju Srinivas, Ismail Sheikh, and Basavaraju Laharidhar under the banners of Everest Cinemass and Smart Screen Entertainments. Directed by Kiran Tirumalasetti, the movie is based on real events. It is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on the 27th of this month. Today, the trailer for Drinker Sai was launched at Hyderabad’s Prasad Labs. At the event:
DOP Prashanth Ankireddy said, “It’s a pleasure to work on Drinker Sai. This is a beautiful movie. Go to the theaters on the 27th of this month and watch it – you will all enjoy it.”
Producer Ismail Sheikh shared, “Our director Kiran Garu has taken the story of Drinker Sai and made it even better than what was initially told. The entire team worked hard to make this movie a success. Chandrabose Garu has written six wonderful songs that elevate the story even further. Dharma worked with great dedication, often retaking scenes to ensure perfection. We are coming to you with a good movie like Drinker Sai on the 27th, and we hope you will support us.”
Producer Laharidhar said, “Whatever interesting content you see in the trailer, you will experience more of it in the movie. We are confident that you will enjoy our film in the theaters. It will appeal to both family audiences and youth. Thanks to the entire team for their hard work.”
Actress Kirrak Seetha expressed, “I thank our director Kiran Garu for giving me the opportunity to play a meaningful role in Drinker Sai. This role is different from the characters I’ve done before. Hero Dharma and heroine Aishwarya have performed impressively.”
Director Kiran Tirumalasetti said, “I hope you all liked the trailer of Drinker Sai. The producer of this movie, Basavaraju Laharidhar, is the son of Basavaraju Srinivas Garu, a close friend of Megastar Chiranjeevi Garu. When I first told this story to Srinivas Garu, he suggested we show it to Chiranjeevi Garu and get his opinion. I then added a social element to the story and rewrote it. After that, GK Mohan Garu sent a message to Chiranjeevi Garu saying the story was good, and he replied that it would be fine. With his consent, Drinker Sai began production. If he had said no, the movie wouldn’t have happened. Dharma received training from Satyanand Garu and even won a gold medal. After Prabhas, Dharma is the only one to have received such training. He worked very dedicatedly for this film. When I saw Aishwarya, I felt she was a perfect match for the character of Baaghi in my story. Despite not speaking Telugu, she performed wonderfully. I would also like to thank editor Marthand K Venkatesh Garu and lyricist Chandrabose Garu for their great support. We made sure to include youthful elements to attract the youth audience to the theaters. I am confident that once the movie is released, my media friends will praise me for creating a good film.”
Executive Producer Lakshmi said, “If the story is good, the audience will appreciate even small films. Our movie Drinker Sai has such good content. After watching the trailer, don’t think that it’s meant for a specific section of the audience. The entire family can watch this movie together.”
Heroine Aishwarya Sharma said, “I am happy to release the trailer of Drinker Sai in the presence of all of you. Thank you to the director and producers for giving me the opportunity to act in this movie. I don’t know Telugu, and I come from Mumbai, but my family has been very supportive. Dharma helped me learn my Telugu dialogues on set, and I’m happy to have found such a good co-star. Kirrak Seetha has become my best friend. Everyone in the team worked very dedicatedly. Drinker Sai will be released on the 27th of this month, and I hope you all will support me.”
Hero Dharma said, “I have been passionate about movies since childhood. I used to dance to the songs of our star heroes’ films. I trained under Satyanand Garu, and I felt very happy when I got the opportunity to be part of Drinker Sai. Some people criticized me after watching the movie trailer, but I am confident that no one will have negative opinions after watching the full film. We performed a screening for elderly people, and none of the 100 attendees had any complaints—they all said the movie was good. We also showed it to engineering college students, auto drivers, and masons, and received positive responses from everyone. No one in our team worked for money; we worked out of passion. Editor Marthand K Venkatesh Garu provided valuable insights about the movie. Our heroine Aishwarya performed wonderfully, and Kirrak Seetha did her scenes in a single take. Sri Vasanth’s music and Chandrabose’s lyrics have been well-received. I thank the entire team for giving me such a wonderful movie.”
