big guys last outing’: Tom Hardy bids goodbye to Venom in Venom: The Last Dance

Tom Hardy recently confirmed that his upcoming film Venom: The Last Dance will be his last film as Marvel’s iconic anti-hero. While it might be difficult for fans to accept, it appears that after 6 years, Hardy will be saying goodbye to Venom in the final instalment of the franchise.

Sony’s Venom franchise has been one of the most popular superhero franchises and has established Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock and Venom as fan-favourite characters. In a recent social media post promoting Venom: The Last Dance, Tom Hardy left a heartfelt comment about his future as the symbiote anti-hero.

Expressing gratitude to his fans for their support, he wrote: Thankyou for a great time – and 7 years. I’ve had the best experience @Sony working with Venom – This is me and the big guys last outing going out with a Bang!!! Come See us off – last in the trilogy and done. We have such a great time Thankyou

In Venom: The Last Dance, Tom Hardy returns as Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy. Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.

The film stars Tom Hardy, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach and Stephen Graham. The film is directed by Kelly Marcel from a screenplay she wrote, based on a story by Hardy and Marcel. The film is produced by Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, Kelly Marcel, Tom Hardy and Hutch Parker.
