Daaku Maharaj’ Grand Success Event on January 22 in Anantapur: Nandamuri Balakrishna
Daaku Maharaj, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role, is directed by blockbuster filmmaker Bobby Kolli. Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas banners, in association with Srikara Studios, this film was made on a massive budget. The film features music by Thaman S, while Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, and Urvashi Rautela play pivotal roles.
Released worldwide on January 12 as a Sankranti treat, the film received an overwhelming response from audiences, starting with its overseas premieres. Breaking records at the box office, Daaku Maharaj collected over ₹114 crores gross within just five days, emerging as the biggest success in Balakrishna’s career.
To celebrate the film’s resounding success, the team held a success meet at ITC Kohinoor, Hyderabad, on Friday evening, expressing heartfelt gratitude to fans and audiences for making Daaku Maharaj a monumental hit.
Nandamuri Balakrishna Speaking at the event, “I strongly believe in the blessings of my parents and the love of my audience. These blessings together gave birth to Daaku Maharaj. This is my fourth consecutive blockbuster, following Akhanda, Veera Simha Reddy, and Bhagavanth Kesari. Every film I do is a challenge, and this one raises awareness about water issues, showcasing a Telugu engineer who transforms into a savior in Rajasthan.
