The film has been the talk of the industry for the last few days. ‘Pekamedalu ‘, which has shown variety from the promotions and gained the attention of the audience, will be in front of the audience this Friday. However, a special press meet was held earlier in the day. Let’s find out in this review how the film is with promising content with promotions.

Story;
Lakshman (Vinod Kishan) is a B.Tech graduate who wants to earn crores as a real estate broker. His wife Varalakshmi (Anusha Krishna) is a housewife. In the absence of support from her husband, Varalakshmi hopes to start a small business. She wants her son to get a good education and live with dignity among the four. At the same time, Swetha (Retika Srinivas) is introduced to Lakshman as an NRI woman. Lakshman dreams of getting acquainted with her and settling down in life. But how did their lives change? Was Lakshman successful? How much did Varalakshmi have to suffer as his wife? What happened to them in the end? Did Lakshmana’s pyramids stand? Or not? That is the story of this film.

Analysis:

Having a good party on Saturday and Sunday, the stomach is spoiled and it feels peaceful if you eat uttara burdana on Monday. The film is also like that. The film means hundreds of crores of investment, superstar cast, grandiose making, mesmerizing visuals, huge sets. The basic drama of the film is missing in this film. Any small film can be a big success if it can establish some characters and create drama by weaving some emotions around the journey of those characters. This is the success formula of director Ratna Dasari Narayana Rao. The director of Pekamedalu, Neelagiri Mamilla, has made sure that his story and narration goes on in the same vein. When he directed the story he wanted to tell without deviating from it, the success of the film was achieved. There is a lot of emotion in this film because of the honesty.

At first glance there is no light. Only a few scenes that establish the characters’ behaviors are seen. When the character of Retika Srinivas comes into the story as an NRI woman, the film gains momentum from there. In fact, the director may have deviated here and shot romantic scenes with Retika Srinivas and put the film on the commercial track. But, he didn’t get a chance. He was only telling the story of Lakshmana and Varalakshmi. The first off ends with Laxman showing how low he has fallen as a man.

The pace of the story picks up from the second half. At the same time, the negative shade in Laxman’s character is increasing and Varalakshmi’s character is getting highlighted. At one point, the entire weight of the story falls on the heroine’s character. Anusha Krishna’s performance is really good. Especially the scene where she confronts her husband in the pre-climax was amazing. Anusha Krishnadi’s performance was an award-winning one. The way the director has handled the two main characters in the climax is amazing.

Performance and technical work:

Vinod Kishan and Anusha Krishna’s performance is the main strength of the film. It shows how the middle class lives. There are no major characters in the film. All the others came and went. Technically, the team is to be admired. For a story that was believable, the magic was done as soon as a budget was assumed. Haricharan’s cinematography is excellent. The artwork is also appreciated here. Though there is no background score, the music is impressive. It’s really great to give RR where it’s needed, without disturbing the emotion of the story. I liked Nilgiri Mamilla’s honesty as a director. The way he believed the story was good. Last but not the least, Rakesh Warre is the producer of the film. He is also a struggling actor and it is really commendable to stand by such a good story. Plus: Vinod Kishan’s acting Anusha Krishna’s acting Story Director’s good :Producer Rakesh Yerrani dindt compramise in production values of Pekamedala.

Plus Points;Anusha Krishna directs this film which has Vinod Kishan in a lead role.

PunchLine;The Last Word: Not a small film, but a good Film Pekamedalu
