‘Toofan’ is the title of Vijay Antony’s next film in Telugu starring with ‘Supreme Star’ Sarath Kumar and an ensemble cast, is gearing up for its theatrical release soon.
After the blockbuster success of his recent films ‘Bichagadu 2’ and ‘Love Guru’ , Vijay Antony will be back with ‘TOOFAN’ as his next film and he is excited about the film and is contributing in various ways in addition to his fine acting.
‘TOOFAN’ is the most ambitious and high budget film from Cinematographer and Director Vijay Milton, who is known for his well-made and commercially successful films in Tamil ‘Azhagai Irukkirai Bayamai Irukkirathu’, ‘Goli Soda’, ’10 Endrathukulle’, ‘Kadugu’ and ‘Goli Soda 2’. He is now ready with his next ‘TOOFAN’
‘TOOFAN’ boasts of an ensemble cast comprising Vijay Antony, ‘Supreme Star’ Sarath Kumar, Popular Kannada Hero ‘Daali’ Dhananjaya, Megha Akash, Murali Sharma, Pruthvi Amber, Saranya Ponvannan, ‘Thalaivaasal’ Vijay and many others.
‘Kattappa’ of ‘Bahubali’ series Sathyaraj is featured in a special but an important role, which added great strength to the film.
‘TOOFAN’ film is all about how ‘A Nobody with a Past’ enters a new island and ‘Becomes Somebody’s Future’ through his care and kindness for fellow human beings. The film was shot extensively in Andaman Islands, Die-Daman islands and in many other cities.

The film is Produced by Kamal Bohra, D Lalithaa, B, Pradeep and Pankaj Bohra of INFINITI FILM VENTURES, who brought out the successful films ‘Raghavan’ followed by ‘Hatya’ with Vijay Antony. The Producers are very happy and confident about the film and is expecting it will appeal to the audience and critics alike for its theme/subject, making and performances.
The film presents a new genre of ‘Poetic Action Entertainer’ as it will not be a typical action masala film but a poetic one with strong emotions in the backdrop about how the society treats underprivileged and the role of a Hero, who changes their future, presented poetically by the Writer-Director Vijay Milton.
The film is under the last-leg of post-production and is gearing up for its theatrical release.
The film’s team begins the promotions of the film with the launch of its Teaser on 29th May 2024. The film is titled ‘Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan’ (The Man who Dislikes Rain) for its Tamil version and the film will be releasing simultaneously in both languages.
