Following a massive reception received for ‘Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati – Side A’ at the Telugu box office, People Media Factory is all set to release the second part — ‘Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati – Side B’ in theatres on November 17.
Starring actor Rakshit Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth in the lead roles, ‘Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati – Side B’ is directed by Hemanth M. Rao. The film is about a young couple who try to fulfill their romantic aspirations while facing the harsh realities of life. The film was directed by Hemanth M. Rao and produced by Rakshit Shetty. As part of the promotions, the movie team held a press meet here at Ramanaidu Studios on Thursday.
Actor Rakshith Shetty, who played Manu, said, “This is the fourth time I visited Hyderabad — first one was for Avade Srimannarayana, 777 Charlie, ‘Saptha Sagaralu Dhati: Side A’ and now I am here for Side B. First I would like to thank Vivek sir for the love and support. The first part was received very well by the Telugu audiences. I thank my director Hemanth Rao, and big thanks to the media for their support. Side B – the element of revenge is the part of the story. Definitely, there is much more to it. The love that Manu had for Priya will continue in different formats. The love that was there in Side A will also be in Side B.
Producer Vivek Kuchibhotla: When she started promoting ‘Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati – Side A’ three days before the release date, there was a massive response from the crowd on day one itself. Initially when we thought of releasing the film in Telugu, I was sceptical that we might not even recover the money. The collections were good, we even got overflows from the first part. The response was also good. Since there is ample time for the release of Side B, we resolved to kickstart the promotions early. Thanks to the media because of their support, the film could reach out to wider audiences.
Hemanth Rao said, “Very happy to be here after Side A. We received terrific responses from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. We’re very happy to take the film from Karnataka to different States. It is a matter of great pride. I am very excited. If you can see the trailer, the shades of the film are slightly different from Side A. The story continues from the first part. There are a lot of messages that I keep getting from audiences about the trailer. I am very excited and I can’t wait to watch it on the screen on November 17. Thanks to the People’s Media Factory.

Anudeep KV: As you all know ‘Saptha Sagaralu Dhaati: Side A’ earned the name from both critics and audiences. I keep following Rakshith Shetty’s work. Great to see Rukmini Vasanth garu pulling off a powerful role, and Chaitra who is getting introduced in the Side B. I wish the director Hemanth Rao and the entire cast and crew all the very best, and I hope the film will reach the audience.
Avasarala Srinivas: When I started watching the film Saptha Sagaralu Dhati: ‘Side A’, I wondered what the content was about. Ten minutes later, I recalled a small scene from ‘Jyo Achyutananda’. The character Achyuth played by Nara Rohith says that he doesn’t have lofty dreams in his life — he only needs a small job, small pay and a small wife. I don’t know why I had to write the word “small wife”. Usually, we need fewer things to be happy in life. But they eventually turn into challenging ones where you could only achieve them if you sail ‘Saptha Sagaralu’ (seven seas). When I watched the film, the protagonist had very few dreams. He would get a Rs 12,000 salary per month. When we need something in life, we tend to run faster and faster. The greed in life was beautifully explored by the director Hemanth. The way how situations make people forced to behave in certain ways was aptly shown. Not just realistic, but the portrayal of each and every individual character was terrific.
