Kannada actor Devaraj is a popular face among Telugu movie audience. His elder son Dynamic Prince Prajwal Devaraj is coming up with a Pan India movie produced by young filmmaker Govardhan Reddy under Vardhaman Films and Lotus Entertainments banners. Titled as Jathara, the film is directed by Uday Nandanavanam who is known for Sankarabharanam with Nikhil Siddhartha.
Touted to be a beautiful love story, director Uday Nandanavanm has come up with a unique and different concept for this film. The makers aver that Jathara is a love story against rugged backdrop. The pre-production work for the film has been completed. Currently, the makers are finalising the cast. The film is going to be made on lavish budget in a grand scale without any compromises.
Speaking about the film’s progress, producer Govardhan Reddy said, “The shooting of Jathara will commence in August. The film will be released in January 2024 for Sankranthi. It is going to be released simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam languages.”
“The story of Jathara has come out really well. We have felt Prajwal Devaraj garu would be a perfect choice for the lead hero and we have approached him for the same. Impressed with the story, he has readily agreed to do the film immediately. Thus, Prajwal garu has come onboard. Actor Devaraj garu stood like a strong support for this film. The story was penned by B Vasudev Reddy. Director Uday Nandanavanam has given a terrific treatment and tight screenplay. Thus, Jathara has shaped up quite well,” added producer Govardhan Reddy. Jathara is going to be shot in the locales of Ballari, Hyderabad.
Director Uday Nandanavanam said, “The love story in Jathara is very beautiful. The nativity and backdrop are also very new and fresh. Audiences of all age groups and sections would love this film. The story and narrative are going to be different and impressive. The details of the heroine will be revealed soon.” Popular music composer Bheems Ceciroleo, who is riding high with the success of Dhamaka, is going to score music for Jathara. Well-known cinematographer Sai Sriram is going to be the DOP of the film.
